Our Are you a Land Rover enthusiast? Maybe you already own an original Defender, but wonder how the new model compares?
This full day comparison experience gives you the morning in the 'Traditional' Defender, and the afternoon in the 'New' Defender, putting them both through their paces on our famous Robin Hood's Bay Off Road Centre course.
There's time to break for a fantastic lunch at a nearby Castle if you wish (lunch cost not included) between the morning and afternoon sessions.
See how the iconic original Defender handles seriously challenging terrain, and then after lunch find out what a huge injection of 21st century engineering and technology adds to the mix as we push the limits in New Defender.
This is the ultimate off road day for any Land Rover fanatic.
THIS FULL DAY EXPERIENCE IS COMPLETED USING OUR FULLY REBUILT 2013 'TRADITIONAL' DEFENDER 110 COUNTY UTILITY WAGON AND OUR 2020 'NEW' DEFENDER 110 D240 HSE

You may bring along up to 3 guests as passengers
or to share the driving with you, but obviously this reduces the driving time
per person.
Both vehicles can seat 4 people, plus your instructor, but please
note, in the 'Traditional' Defender, 3 passengers in the back can be quite a
squeeze when off roading!
Experiences are available 7 days per week,
although weekend dates tend to book up much further in advance.
Dates are subject to availability, so please book early if you
require a specific date.
Our Defender Comparison Experience is great fun, and you'll be amazed at the ability of both vehicles, often at incredibly low speeds!
IMPORTANT
NOTE: ONLY FULLY QUALIFIED AND
DVSA APPROVED
DRIVING INSTRUCTORS ARE LEGALLY
ALLOWED TO CHARGE FOR DRIVER TRAINING AND
INSTRUCTION, EVEN IF THIS IS DELIVERED OFF ROAD
