Discover the Dales April
2003
19th & 20th April 2003.
The first ukLANDROVERevents greenlaning weekend in the Yorkshire Dales. 2 separate groups of vehicles, 5 in one group, 6 in the other.
As always, any vehicle made by Land Rover was welcome. Defender, Range Rover & Discovery were all represented this time.
Colin and Bob took out group one for the first day, leading the way in the 200Tdi Defender 90, whilst Ian & Rachel took out group two in the Bobtailed 300Tdi Range Rover. Day two sees the guide vehicles swap over, so we get to meet everyone in each group.
This tour of the Dales took us over varying terrain. Some simple tracks and grassland, some lanes through farms, even over the top of the dam at a reservoir. Oh yes, and a tricky little climb over some rocks just to test that our entrants are awake and paying attention!!!
